Adventures in Eorzea

Week 21 (Eorzean Time) :P
Hello again, adventurers! Sarail Clay here, and I'm going to delve into the past several weeks of my life to talk about the changes that have taken place in me and my surroundings. No worries, though. It's all good. I promise.

 So, I've been busy busy. You see, after thwarting Gaius van Baelsar and Nero tol Scaeva's Ultima Weapon (after being flung forward in time by good ol' gramps, Louisoix Leveilleur, to save us all from utter chaos and destruction brought on by Bahamut), we aided our ever-so passive friends to the north, the Ishgardians, in a war with the dragons. (I only came away with a couple of scrapes and bruises...it's okay.)

 That was an interesting ordeal, I might add. I witnessed a dear and compassionate friend of mine die (we still miss you Haurchefant...), a war caused by Nidhogg that almost caused the collapse of our northern friends, and a devious and deceptive now ex-Crystal Braves member that brought about another calamity through the creation of an elder primal...

 ...and the latter point leads us to where we are now.

Oh! But first. I recently changed jobs! (I can't believe I almost forgot to tell you that.) For so long, I've been studying and learning the ways of the Ala Mhigan monks. Well, I've decided to take up a different mantle for my trek across the Eorzean seas and the story I'm about to lay out for you.

 During the excursion into Ishagard, I began speaking with a man by the name of Stephanivien at the Skysteel Manufactory. It was here I learnt of a powerful new technology being developed by the Manufactory with assistance of the Garlond Ironworks called aetherotransformers. These transformers convert one's innate magical properties into lightning-aspected energy. This energy can then be used to power long-range weapons geared for machinists. And oh boy, have I loved learning this craft. I think I'm getting fairly good at it!
I got a new outfit and everything! (The aetherotransformer is a bit heavy sitting on my hip, though.)
So, yeah. Ilberd unleashed a new wrath upon Eorzea and the rest of the planet. Hydaelyn saw the creation of Shinryu, and we attempted to circumvent it's reign of terror by taking control of Allagan tech — Omega, but to no avail. The last that Shinryu and Omega were seen, they were both headed to the Far East. And that's where we bring this journal entry to a close.
Gyr Abania is a beautiful place.
We're investigating the situation at hand, but we've run into Garlean interference. I'll update more at a later time.
